Compensation
$28-$42/hr, based on experience
Description
Join a 25+ year, locally owned commercial and industrial contractor. As a Millwright you will:
Install, set and level pumps, motors, fans, gearboxes and conveyors
Perform precision shaft alignment (laser and dial indicator)
Troubleshoot and repair bearings, seals, couplings and drives
Rig and move equipment safely
Support preventive maintenance and plant shutdowns

Work Conditions
Plants and industrial facilities across the Houston and Galveston Bay Area, indoors and outdoors in Texas heat, at heights and in confined spaces. Full-time, Monday through Friday, with overtime and shutdown work available.
Certification & Licenses:
TWIC card and OSHA 10 preferred. NCCER millwright certification, rigging or forklift certification a plus.
Requirements
4+ years of millwright or industrial mechanic experience
Precision alignment, rigging and blueprint reading
Own hand tools and precision measuring tools
Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
Pass a background check and drug screen
