Compensation
$22-$30/hr, based on experience
Description
Join a 25+ year, locally owned commercial contractor. As a Carpenter you will:
Frame walls, soffits and partitions in wood and light-gauge metal
Build and strip concrete forms
Hang and adjust doors, frames and hardware
Install trim, cabinets, blocking and finish carpentry
Read blueprints and take accurate measurements
Repair and maintain buildings for our facility maintenance clients

Work Conditions
Indoor and outdoor commercial job sites in the Houston and Galveston Bay Area. Work in Texas heat, at heights and around active construction. Full-time, Monday through Friday, with overtime available.
Certification & Licenses:
OSHA 10 preferred. Valid Texas driver's license required.
Requirements
2+ years of carpentry experience (commercial preferred)
Own basic hand tools; power tools experience required
Able to read plans and use a tape measure, level and laser accurately
Able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders, lifts and scaffolding
Reliable transportation and a valid Texas driver's license
Pass a drug screen
